PrintcentreUK launch £250 Competition for In-Store 2008 11/04/2008
Our PoS manufacturing division, PrintCentre UK are well known for their "off the wall" approach to In-Store Point Of Sale so they have decided to put up £250 prize money for the best idea for an industry related board game which we will "limited edition manufacture" and give away at this year's In-Store 2008 exhibition at Earls Court, London, in May.
BlueStock Group Point of Sale manufacturing division, PrintcentreUK has issued a "£250 creative challenge" to point of sale designers to devise an industry relevant board game. The winning game will be manufactured as a 250 off Limited Edition and be given away to visitors to this year's In-Store 2008 show at Earls Court, London on May 20 - 22, 2008. Closing date for entries is April 20th 2008.
The winning designer will be presented with a £250 cash prize and a "personalised" copy of the game by Print Centre Eesti AS, Estonia, to celebrate the opening of their UK office and official launch into the UK market. The bespoke POS manufacturer is already supplying global brands including Coca Cola, Carlsberg Tetley and Sony EMI in Scandinavia and parts of mainland Europe and will launch into the UK at In-Store 2008 in May on Stand No: F27.
Ideas so far include a "buy-out" game in which players compete to buy retail stores on a location street hot spot to a snakes and ladders game in which playing cards decide how a contestant moves to a directorship!
Simon Rigby, Director of UK Operations, for PrintcentreUK said the "Creative Challenge" was launched both to draw attention to the fact that the company is a creative manufacturer that doesn't shy away from a creative challenge.
"We believe the only limitation is your own imagination. Today we call POS "in-store furniture" and that is what it is - it is part of the retail experience. It has to excite, entice and create a shopping experience that leads to sales and that is what we have been doing in Scandinavia for the last 10 years."
"We have the advantage of being suppliers to global brands operating in countries as diverse as Russia, Scandinavia, main land Europe and now the UK. We have crossed cultures and have a lot of experience to bring to the market," Simon explained.
To enter the competition go to www.printcentreuk.com click on "products" then "games" take a look at the type of games the company has manufactured in the past to promote Scandinavian brands, then email your ideas to info@printcentreuk.com We will get back to you asap.... How easy is that?
